Stronghold Drywall, Inc.

A licensed drywall contractor, based in the San Fernando Valley.

Stronghold Drywall, Inc. is a C-9 licensed drywall contractor working across all of southern california. We hang and finish commercial interiors and residential work, and we hold a CSLB license you can verify in about thirty seconds.

Fifty years of trade experience, in one crew.

The company carries roughly 50 years of combined drywall experience across its leadership and lead crews: people who came up hanging board, running tape, and matching texture on Southern California houses and commercial interiors.

That matters most on the work nobody else wants: a patch in the middle of a hand-textured wall in a 1940s Pasadena bungalow, a rated shaft wall that has to pass inspection the first time, a Level 5 lobby that will be lit by a wall-washer at a brutal angle. Those jobs are not learned quickly.

We work across 6 counties and take jobs from a single ceiling repair to a full commercial interior. The estimate is free, it is in writing, and it comes back within two business days.

Finishing is a hand skill. It does not compress.

A taping knife held at the wrong angle leaves a ridge. Too much compound and you sand for a day; too little and the seam telegraphs through the paint a year later. The difference between a wall that reads flat and one that does not is almost entirely in the wrist of whoever held the trowel.

That is the whole reason experience is the number we lead with. You cannot hire your way past it in a week, and you cannot buy a tool that does it for you. It is learned on walls, one coat at a time, and the people who taught us learned it the same way.

How we operate

The finish level is a promise, not a preference

If the spec says Level 4, you get three separate coats and a surface free of tool marks. If it says Level 5, you get the skim. We do not quote one level and deliver another and hope the paint hides it.

The quote is the price, and the date is the date

We hold the number we gave you. If something outside our scope changes the work, you hear about it before it happens, in writing, not on the final invoice. The completion date comes from our real crew load, which is why we will sometimes tell you a date you did not want, rather than one we cannot meet.

Drying time is not padding

Compound needs to dry between coats. A crew that finishes a house in two days left something wet under something dry, and it will crack. We schedule the time the material needs.

We look at it under the light you will use

Every job ends with a raking-light walkthrough: a work light held at a low angle, the same test a painter applies. Anything that shows gets fixed before we leave.

Clean site, every day

Containment, floor protection, and daily cleanup on residential work. Drywall dust gets everywhere, and it is our dust.
